Adam Green sang with Wokingham Choral Society at St Paul's Church, Wokingham on 2nd June 2001 performing works by Vaughan Williams, works by Elgar and works by Finzi.

He joined Wokingham Choral Society at Eton School Hall on 25th March 2006 when we performed Mendelssohn's Elijah.

Adam Green       Baritone

Born in Harrogate, Adam Green studied at Uppingham School and St John's College, Cambridge, where he was a choral scholar. On graduating, he joined the Royal Academy of Music, where he studied on the Advanced Opera Course. In addition to this, Adam recently completed his studies at the National Opera Studio. A prize-winner in the Great Elm International Singing Competition, and holder of the Anglo-Czech Award, he was also winner of the song prize at the National Mozart Competition and has been awarded scholarships from the Ian Fleming Trust, Sybil Tutton and the Countess of Munster Foundation. He has taken part in Masterclasses on Owen Wingrave with Gerald Finley at the Aldeburgh Festival (broadcast on BBC Radio 3), Sergei Leiferkus on Russian Songs and Arias at the Britten-Pears School, Christa Ludwig, on Lieder at the Wigmore Hall and Sir Thomas Allen at the Royal Opera House.

His concert experience is already extensive, his engagements including J. S. Bach Weihnachtsoratorium in Frankfurt under Lutz Khöler, the Brahms Requiem and Messiah at the Royal Albert Hall under Sir David Willcocks, the Elgar Coronation Ode with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, Elijah in Budapest, Carmina Burana televised in Ely Cathedral, and Telemann Matthäus Passion at the Snape Maltings. Recital engagements have included performances at St Martin-in-the-Fields, The Pump Room, Bath, Ripon Cathedral and the Linbury Studio Theatre of the Royal Opera House.
