Dan D'Souza            Baritone

Dan D'Souza was educated at the University of Cambridge and the Royal College of Music.

His opera roles include Sid Albert Herring, Figaro Le Nozze di Figaro, Junius Rape of Lucretia, Ben The Telephone, and Harasta Cunning Little Vixen. He has created roles in A Sign in Space by Nick Morrish-Rarity, Bel and the Dragon by Alex Paxton, 76 Days by Kenichi Ikuno, Killer Graphics by Sam Hall, and Far From The Madding Crowd by Barnaby Martin, for companies such as Tête à Tête and Gestalt Arts. He is an Associate Artist for Salon Opera and an Iford Arts New Generation Artist.

Oratorio roles include Mendelssohn Elijah, Vaughan Williams Five Mystical Songs, Mozart Requiem, Bach St John Passion, Bach St Matthew Passion, Duruflé Requiem, Vaughan Williams Dona Nobis Pacem, and Brahms Deutsches Requiem. He has a strong interest in Bach Cantatas and has performed one-to-a-part in BWV132 and BWV9 for Adrian Butterfield and the RCM Baroque Ensemble, BWV21 for Chad Kelly and Ars Eloquentiae, and as a soloist in BWV49, BWV78, and BWV131 for Ashley Solomon and the RCM Baroque Orchestra.
