Appearances with Wokingham Choral Society:

Laurie Brock sang with Wokingham Choral Society at All Saints Church, Wokingham on Saturday 19th June 2004 performing Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms. He joined the Society again at Reading University Great Hall on Saturday 19th March 2005 when we performed Handel's Messiah.

Laurie Brock       Treble

Laurie is 14 and a pupil at Westminster School. He has been a chorister at St Margaret's, Westminster Abbey for five years, now under the direction of Aidan Oliver, and was Head Chorister at Westminster Under School. He has toured widely in the UK and in Belgium, Holland and most recently Canada where he sang solos in the Basilica of Notre Dame in Montreal and the Parliament House in Ottawa. He enjoys singing everything from Mozart to Cole Porter. Last summer he made his debut with Wokingham Choral Society as soloist in Bernstein's Chichester Psalms, and also sang the Pie Jesu from Lloyd Webber's Requiem in front of 14,000 people at two outdoor concerts at Sandhurst. When he is not singing he is playing tennis, cricket, squash, fives or football. He is an obsessional Arsenal supporter. He and his brother Callum have an Irish terrier called Hattie.
