Ben Lewis-Smith           WCS Accompanist

Recent seasons have seen Benedict Lewis-Smith perform at the Royal Festival Hall, broadcast on BBC Radio 3, and work alongside the Monteverdi Choir and Sir John Eliot Gardiner as répétiteur.

Benedict is currently Director of Music at St Saviour's, Pimlico (SW1) and is regularly invited abroad to play in the Victoria International Arts Festival, in Gozo, Malta.

Following on from a degree in Music at The University of Oxford, he is also much in demand as a conductor. Last season he conducted Bach B Minor Mass with Epsom Choral Society and recently recorded a disc with the digital label, Resonus Classics. He is also currently Musical Director of Blackheath and Bramley Choral Society.

In January 2017 he recorded with the Oxbridge Organ Duo at Blackburn Cathedral for Regent Records and was previously Director of Music at St. George's School, Windsor Castle. He currently works with choirs at Westminster School and Hill House International Preparatory School in London.
