Bene't Coldstream joined Wokingham Choral Society
at All Saints Church, Wokingham on
Saturday 19th June 2004 when we performed Leonard Bernstein's Chichester Psalms,
Bob Chilcott's Jubilate and Haydn's Te Deum for Empress Marie Theresa.
Bene't Coldstream Tenor
Bene't Coldstream read music at Keele University. He has studied with Philip Cave and David Pollard, and performs regularly as a choir member and soloist.
As a recital soloist he has performed works by composers as varied as Rameau, Purcell, Wolf, Quilter, Puccini, Finzi and Sondheim.
Bene't has sung in a number of consort groups including Magnificat, the Oxford Camerata, Pange Lingua and the Clerkes of Oxenford. He has performed live for Radio Three and Radio Four, recorded works by composers such as Willaert, Josquin, Victoria to Faure, Britten and Lloyd-Webber.
Bene't combines a career as an oratorio soloist with commitments as a member of St. Margaret's Westminster Choir, and a full time job in the city.
