Malachy Frame            Baritone

Belfast-born baritone Malachy Frame studied at the University of Cambridge and at the Royal Academy of Music under Mark Wildman and Iain Ledingham.

Malachy is Northern Ireland Opera's 'Voice of 2016', having won the annual competition during the company's 'Festival of Voice' in August.

Since then, solo engagements have included recitals of Schumann, Schubert, and Judith Weir, Handel's Alexander's Feast, the role of Aeneas in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas at the Grange Festival, the Lion in Lampe's Pyramus and Thisbe, and Masetto in Don Giovanni.

Malachy recently recorded the world premiere of Stuart MacRae's Cantata for Delphian Records, and was a finalist in the Maureen Lehane Vocal Awards 2016 at the Wigmore Hall.
