Stephanie Marshall joined Wokingham Choral Society at The School Hall, Eton College on 26 November 2000 performing Tippett's A Child of our Time and Rachmaninov's Second Piano Concerto.

She joined the Society again at Eton College Chapel on 24 March 2002 to perform J. S. Bach's Mass in B Minor.

Stephanie Marshall       Mezzo Soprano

Born in Montreal, Stephanie moved to London to pursue her postgraduate studies at the Royal Academy of Music. Since then she has enjoyed continued success in concert work, performing at the Wigmore Hall, the Serpentine Gallery, St Martin-in-the-Fields, Clonter Opera, and at Windsor Castle. As alto soloist she has performed Mendelssohn's Elijah, Beethoven's Mass in C, Handel's Dixit Dominus, Britten's Ceremony of Carols and the Vivaldi Gloria. This past autumn Stephanie toured with the Britten Sinfonia, performing Handel arias at the Bridgewater Hall, the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow and the Music Hall, Aberdeen, as sponsored by the John Lewis Partnership.

Stephanie's operatic roles include Xerxes in Xerxes, (BYO) Ramiro in Die Gärtnerin aus Liebe (LRSO), Meg Page in Falstaff ( BYO), L'Enfant in L'Enfant et les Sortileges (LSO, Maastricht), Giacinta (understudy) in La Finta Semplice (The Classical Opera Company), Nancy in Albert Herring (Opera McGill) and Dryade in Ariadne auf Naxos (Opera McGill). With Chimera Opera she sang the solo role in Turnage's Twice through the Heart, winning critical acclaim. With ENO she took part in the Holland Music Festival singing in their production of Janacek's The Diary of One Who Vanished.
